At around 10:04 a.m., a two vehicle traffic collision was reported on E. Bellevue Road and Constitution Drive in Atwater.
Upon further investigation, it appeared one vehicle rear ended another vehicle that stopped for a pedestrian crossing the street.
Only one person sustained major injuries, but the injuries appeared to be non life threatening. He was flown to an unknown hospital, according to a statement from an officer on scene.
The other occupants of the vehicle declined medical attention.
Drug or Alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this accident.
