Three people sustained major injuries after a two vehicle traffic collision.
The traffic collision happened at the intersection of Santa Fe and Franklin Road around 12:45 A.M.
A black vehicle was stopped at the red light on Santa Fe, when the driver of a Chrysler 300 rear ended the black vehicle going at a high rate of speed, which caused both vehicles to go across the intersection, according to CHP.
The driver of the Chrysler 300 was life flighted to a Modesto hospital. The passenger was also transported by Riggs to a Modesto hospital, according to CHP.
CHP said, “Both occupants of the Chrysler were not wearing their seat belts.”
The driver of the black vehicle was also transported to a Modesto hospital.
Suspicion of driving under the influence is currently under investigation in this traffic collision, according to CHP.
