A man was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI after crashing into a Merced County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle.
The deputy was traveling east of Buena Vista Drive approaching the intersection of Paseo Verde. Meanwhile, a Ford F-250 was traveling southbound on Paseo Verde. The suspect allegedly drove into the deputy’s patrol vehicle, CHP say.
The deputy only sustained minor injuries.
The suspect was arrested for DUI, CHP say.
