A felon was found by a K-9 earlier today in Winton.

Merced County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were called to the 7100 Block of Suzie Street for the report of trespassers inside a vacant residence.

Upon arrival, several subjects ran from the residence one of which was identified as Marcial Rabadan who is wanted on two felony Merced County warrants for violation of probation and domestic violence, deputies say.

Sergeant Witt, along with his K-9 partner Banshee arrived and with the assistance of Deputies Corry Swartz and Brennen Reyna, trailed Rabadan through an apartment complex and into a backyard on Suzie Street. Deputy Banshee alerted to a shed in the back corner of the property and Rabadan was found hiding inside the shed.

Deputies arrested Rabadan and booked him into the Merced County Jail on his outstanding warrants.
