Earlier in the week Detective Ramirez with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Bureau authored Two Ramey Warrants for “Longo” Sureno Criminal Street Gang member Gerardo Gudino aka, “Toker,” originally from Long Beach Ca.

It is believed Gudino was responsible for a firearms related assault on April 25, 2018 during which he pistol whipped a male victim, then cycled the slide of a handgun, and held it to the victim’s head. Another incident involving Gudino was on August 15, 2018 when he was the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a pursuit with Merced County Sheriff’s Deputy Pizano. Due to Gudino’s dangerous driving during that pursuit, Deputy Pizano called off the pursuit for safety reasons and lost him in an orchard.

Additionally, Gudino had a No Bail warrant from the Los Banos Police Department for evading arrest as well.

Through investigation, it was learned that Gudino was aware he was wanted by law enforcement and was staying at a residence in the 21000 block of Lexington Avenue in Dos Palos.

In conjunction with the Ramey Warrants for Gudino’s arrest, Detective Ramirez also authored a Search Warrant for the Lexington Avenue address. On the date of September 27, 2018 at about 1:42 p.m., Detectives with assistance from the Merced County Sheriff’s Office STAR Team located Gudino at the above mentioned property and he was taken into custody And booked into the Merced County Jail.
