Merced PD responded to Mountain Mike’s Pizza for A shooting incident Monday evening in Merced.

When authorities arrived inside the business, police located three gunshot victims. The three gunshot victims were transported to regional trauma centers. One of those gunshot victims, a 38-year-old male, was killed.

The suspect, 21-year-old Adrian Diego Calderon, was detained at the scene by one of the victims, police say.

Calderon allegedly fired numerous rounds inside Mountain Mike’s Pizza after the fight broke out. The suspect was treated for injuries he received during the incident, police say.

Calderon was arrested and booked into the Merced County Jail for a single count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

No inocent bystanders were injured as a result of this incident. Detectives are aware that several witnesses left the scene prior to the arrival of responding officers. Detectives would like to obtain a statement from anyone who was present when the shooting occurred.
