On June 25, 2018 around 1:00 PM, a male riding a bike through the Farmdale area noticed a BMX bike on a local neighborhood porch.
The suspect went to stash his bike he was riding and then stole the bike on the porch. When the neighbor seen what he was doing he was confronted, and took off.
According to the victim’s family, her son worked really hard to get back into his regular junior high school last year so that he could graduate with his class. The bike was her son’s graduation present and cost over $ 300 at the local bike shop.
The victims family eventually found another individual riding her son’s bike in their neighborhood, and were able to get it back; however, it was spray painted with one of the tires switched out.
