Annual Cheerful Giving event leaves more than a thousand children with toys in Merced

The 8th annual Cheerful Giving event gave over 1,000 presents to children in Merced.

Nicole Lopez, owner of Nicole Lopez Media, normally host the event in downtown Merced, drawing thousands of people, growing every year. Unfortunately, those plans changed like many other events, due to COVID-19.

This year, Nicole and several volunteers, made appearances in South Merced, the Loughborough area, motels, and the Applegate Park area.

“We want to thank everyone who donated toys and the car clubs that helped out,” said Nicole.
