On March 13, 2019, Some millions of users on Facebook and other platforms owned by the social media giant, including Instagram, WhatsAPP and Messenger, experienced problems accessing the services.
The outages began Wednesday afternoon and appeared to affect people in multiple areas around the world.
Facebook tweeted the following:
“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible,” Facebook tweeted.
