Fire crews responded to a residential structure fire on Meadowbrook Avenue at 7:00 p.m.
When fire crews arrived, about 30% of an attached garage was on fire, according to Battalion Chief John Slate.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire to the garage.
Five people were displaced from the fire, according to Slate.
One dog was killed from the fire, according to Slate.
The cause of fire remains under investigation.
