Family Dollar made it’s official grand opening in Atwater at 8:00 a.m. this morning.
Atwater’s Family Dollar location offered free gift cards to the first 50 customers who entered the store. Customers were also offered a chance to enter a drawing to win several prizes.
The weather, which reached just under 50 degrees this morning, did not stop these eager shoppers from getting free gift cards and potential prizes.
Over 25 people were seen waiting in line early this morning.
No fights or major complaints were reported.
The new Family Dollar is located at 451 Bellevue Road in Atwater.
