Around 10:20 a.m., Merced PD responded to Walmart in Merced regarding a verbal argument between a male subject and a Walmart associate.
As Merced PD responded, a few seconds later more units were called to the scene due to the verbal argument turning physical.
When Merced PD arrived on scene, they detained one person near the toy department aisles.
Riggs was then called but they were told to disregard the call due to no injuries being reported.
One person was then seen in handcuffs being escorted out by Merced PD in front of the main entrance of Walmart.
