Merced PD responded to the area of M Street and Buena Vista Drive for two vehicle traffic collision.
Incident happened at 11:35 a.m.
When Merced PD arrived one occupant was pinned inside the vehicle.
Police say a Mazda 3 was traveling southbound on M Street towards Buena Vista in the #2 lane. A black Ford F-150 was traveling westbound on Buena Vista. The black F150 traveled through a stop sign and struck the Mazda 3.
The driver and passenger of the Mazda 3 were both transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
