A major traffic collision involving three vehicles, two with major damage occurred at the intersection of West Olive Avenue and Austin Avenue in Merced, police say.
Incident happened at 2:00 p.m.
One woman was killed in the traffic collision shortly after.
Merced PD shut down a section of Olive Avenue and Meadows Avenue.
Merced PD is currently investigating whether drugs or alcohol are a factor in this traffic collision.
