Three people survive after a head-on traffic collision in Merced County.
The traffic collision happened around 4:27 A.M.
A Nissan and Toyota were going opposite directions on Oakdale Road when they both crashed head-on leaving three people injured.
For unknown reasons the Toyota went into the opposing lane, the vehicles then collided, according to an officer on scene.
The Toyota was occupied by 1 male driver, the Nissan was occupied by 1 male driver and 1 female passenger.
No major injuries reported.
Alcohol or drugs are not a factor, according to CHP.
The traffic collision remains under investigation.
