One man was airlifted after a traffic accident on Santa Fe.
CHP responded to a motorcycle vs vehicle on Santa Fe and Avenue Two at 5:13 p.m.
According to CHP Sergeant Shane Mcconnell, a motorcyclist was driving eastbound on Santa Fe approaching Avenue Two, meanwhile, a Ford Escape was driving on the westbound turn lane prepared turn south on Avenue Two.
The driver of the Ford Escape did not see the motorcycle approaching. The vehicle then turned in front of the motorcycle causing the motorcycle hit the rear of the SUV.
The motorcyclist, an adult male, was airlifted to an out of area hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
