Every Halloween night, a wicked old witch stands outside her home, stirring her large black cauldron, waiting for trick-or-treaters.

But what made this witch want to scare trick-or-treaters on Halloween night? Well, the Wicked Witch of the East wasn’t always so wicked. A long time ago, she was a pretty witch.

But she says she got older and older, and with that, she became creepier and creepier.

Now, for the last 25 years, she still wanted to preserve the old tradition of trick-or-treating so the children could experience the fun she had as a child on Halloween night, her favorite night of the year.
