Merced Police responded to the intersection of Olive Avenue and Highway 59 for a vehicle vs dirt bike incident, Monday night.
The incident caused traffic to be diverted in the area.
According to police, two people were on the dirt bike when the collision occurred.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
