At around 10:33 p.m., a robbery suspect leg bailed on an MPD officer on Highway 140/ V Street.

Several minutes later, MPD officers were able to locate the suspect on the median section of the freeway, where MPD officers held him at gunpoint at around 10:43 p.m.

The suspect was then detained.

At approximately 11:00 p.m., The victim was able to correctly identify the suspect .

He was then booked into the Merced County jail.
