Three years ago, Evelyn Quintero, 67, moved to the City of Atwater to be closer to her family.

But before moving to Atwater, Evelyn and her husband lived in their hometown of Vacaville, Ca, where they were known for their astonishing Christmas displays. Now living in Atwater that seems to be no different, thanks to a few viral posts on social media.

The Atwater home consist of more than 8,000 handcrafted lighted flowers, and over 33,000 hand painted lights she created. All the handcrafted displays can withstand certain weather conditions, Evelyn told Merced Daily.

The lot on the side of their Atwater house was specifically bought for her Christmas lights, according to Evelyn. She thought that would be great for the community to walk along the sidewalk to view the display.

People from as far as Turlock have traveled to Atwater just to view the amazing display on Crystal Drive.

The display is usually turned off around 10:00 p.m.

The display will be taken down on January 1, 2021.
