On Tuesday afternoon, a juvenile was struck by a vehicle in Atwater.
The Atwater Police Department responded to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Olive Avenue near Willow Street.
According to Atwater Police Chief Michael Salvador, what led to the incident is still under investigation. However, the driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The extent of the juvenile’s injuries is unknown at this time, but the juvenile was airlifted as a precautionary measure.
