A Merced County Sheriff Deputy was shot in Livingston early Wednesday morning, authorities say.
The incident unfolded when a Merced County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a disturbance call at a home on Yamato Road in rural Livingston. The deputy was shot when he was in his car, according to authorities.
The deputy sustained only minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital, according to authorities. He is expected to be fine.
