At around 6:56 a.m., Merced Communication Center received a call for a report of a man down in a vacant field on Main and V Street in Merced.
According to L.T. Struble, a hispanic male was found deceased by a city employee.
The male is believed to be a hispanic male in his late 20’s or early 30’s.
The victim had injuries constant with a struggle, according to L.T. Struble.
This incident is labeled as a suspicious death and remains under investigation.
