At approximately 5:25 a.m., a vehicle crashed into a home on Emma Street and Highway 59 in Snelling.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 2015 Hyundai Sonata inside the house.
Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver, 26-year-old Breanna Villegas, was traveling on Highway 59 at an unknown speed and came upon a left turn and continued straight – crashing into a house on Emma Street.
According to officer Eric Zuniga, two elderly people in their 60’s were in the house at the time and only suffered minor injuries.
The driver was taken to Mercy Medical Center for precaution.
According to officer Zuniga, the driver could be facing felony charges for alleged DUI.
