The San Francisco 49ers will be sponsoring a flag football league for boys and girls at Winton Park.
Merced County’s Recreation Superintendent Michael Sanchez told Merced Daily the San Francisco 49ers will pay for everything and sign-ups are completely free. This is the first time the Niners will be sponsoring an event like this in the Winton area. Your child doesn’t have to be from Winton to sign-up.
The league is only accepting children between the ages of 7-14.
Sign-ups will be held at the following locations:
Winton Middle School gym on Monday-Wednesday from 5:10 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
March 12, 2020 at Winfield Elementary from 5:30p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
March 19, 2020 at Frank Sparks Elementary from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
March 26, 2020 at Winton Middle School 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
April 2, 2020 at Crookham Elementary 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
The flag football league starts on Monday, April 6, 2020.
