Merced City Fire responded to Main and I Streets for a structure fire at 7:09 a.m.
When Fire crews arrived, the front structure was fully engulfed, according to Merced City Battalion Chief Shawn Luce.
With over 20 fire personnel on scene, the fire was quickly contained.
No one was injured in the fire.
Fires have been an issue for the abandon building. This is the second major fire to the building in the last couple months, according to Luce.
The fire remains under investigation.
