Asio Verde, a specialty plant shop, will open this coming Saturday in downtown Merced.
Co-owner, Andrew Garcia, started off as a plant collector, eventually becoming involved in the plant community. He would later meet his business partner, Sophia Leon, at a pop-up event. They would later agree on opening a unique plant shop in Merced.
Asio Verde will sell more than 100 different indoor houseplants and exotic rare tropical plants, according to Garcia.
Asio Verde will also provide plantscaping and repotting services.
The grand opening will be at 950 W Main St., opening at 10am.
